Look at your foot from the side and determine what shank type you have. This is important to know when selecting feet.
A low shank snap on Singer machine, will need a new Low shank holder to make these feet work. This will then make all of these snap on feet adaptable to the Singer.
If your General Purpose Zig Zag Foot looks like Slant Needle foot in this chart, your machine style is a Singer Slant Needle. Your presser foot and needle slant towards the front of the machine. Your machine will always have a top loading bobbin, either self winding or on the outside of the machine.

Note: References to top load or front load refer to how your bobbin is inserted into your machine.
