| Look at your foot from the side and determine what shank type you have. This is important to know when selecting feet. A low shank snap on Singer machine, will need a new Low shank holder to make these feet work if the width of the shank is not at least 1/4" wide. This will then make all of these snap on feet adaptable to the Singer. If your General Purpose Zig Zag Foot looks like Slant Needle foot in this chart, your machine style is a Singer Slant Needle. Your presser foot and needle slant towards the front of the machine. Your machine will always have a top loading bobbin, either self winding or on the outside of the machine. Many of these feet can be used on most machines. Some of your major companies do not have anything that comes close to the convenience these feet can offer. Give them a try - You'll be glad you did.
